Microsoft has released the Beta 2 version of Windows Phone SDK 7.1 (earlier called as Windows Phone Developer Tools). This release has changes in API of App Platform and few improvements in developer tools.

Here are few important changes in Beta 2 as per MSDN…
- Profiler – Profile the performance of UI and code within an app. The profiler works on apps that are deployed to and run on a Windows Phone 7.5 device.
- Emulator – Faster and more stable.
- Isolated Storage Explorer – Fully access the isolated storage of an application deployed to either the device or the emulator.
- Advertising SDK – Now included in the phone SDK. The advertising SDK is only usable within the United States.
